Forest Home Farms works to ensure that all of the historical sites are preserved and taken care of. The farm is set on sixteen acres, and it transports visitors back in time to when San Ramon was a brand new city. Visitors can go on a tour to see what life was like many years ago. You’ll find Forest Home Farms located at 19953 San Ramon Valley Boulevard.


There are so many different parts in San Ramon! Families will particularly enjoy Central Park, located on Alcosta Boulevard. There is a great area for kids to play that allows them to get active, climb and jump. Central Park also hosts summer concerts as well.


The town is the perfect place for people that enjoy the outdoors. If you are looking for trails to either walk or ride on, check out Las Trampas Regional Wilderness. There are over 5,300 hundred acres to enjoy, and the area is teeming with wildlife.

If you are looking for something a bit smaller, head to Bishop Ranch Regional Preserve. This idyllic setting is peaceful and is the perfect place to find wildlife like turkey vultures, red-tailed hawks, and deer. Also, it is worth it to head to the top to check out the amazing view.

These aren’t the only options either. The Sycamore Valley Regional Open Space Preserve has a lot of wildlife and is the perfect place for a birdwatcher to go. Dublin Hills Regional Park is very green, featuring a lot of meadows and grassland. These are both good choices for nature lovers as well.


Do you enjoy golfing? The town is a great place for anyone that loves this sport because there are a variety of courses to play. One option is the Bridges Golf Club, located at Gale Ranch. These eighteen holes are set near Mount Diablo, and they have something to offer both new and old golfers. You’ll find this course at 9000 South Gale Ridge Road.

Also, you can check out the San Ramon Golf Club, which is a championship course that allows you to look at the picturesque Mount Diablo as you play. From start to finish, you’ll spend about four hours on this course. The course is located at 9430 Firecrest Lane.

Finally, there is an additional championship golf course at Canyon Lakes Country Club. Again, you’ll see Mount Diablo in the distance, as well as the valley. You’ll find this course at 640 Bollinger Canyon Way.
